wrong product, probably not genuine,
So this seller advertised normal lancome mascara and sent me waterproof mascara instead. When I complained, they eventually reimbursed my money and told me to just keep the product because they said they stood by the product. I was satisfied, until I actually tried the product. I have been a long-time user of Lancome mascara and while I can’t definitely say this is a knock-off, the consistency of the formula was much less thick and drier than I’ve ever encountered when opening a new tube. The supplier is from china where such scams are common and the low price offered by the seller further supports my feeling that this product is a fake. Anyway, judge for yourself if you feel inclined, I just wanted to warn people of this possibility and I hope Amazon will investigate conclusively.

Many rave reviews about this expensive mascara encouraged me to give it a try. I have used other Lancome mascaras in the past, e.g., Definicils, and am devoted to their makeup and skin care lines. This mascara was a disappointment. It doesn’t lengthen that much, and it certainly doesn’t thicken. To get any type of dramatic increase in lash length, I have to use 5 or 6 coats, which is time consuming to apply and unnatural looking when it dries. I guess I’ll be sticking with my drug store brand for $10. Save your money.
