Sensible,
I strongly detest cologne usually. Mostly for the fact that men who wear it typically wear far too much. That said, this works well because it fades slowly but is somewhat subtle while still having a kind of zest to it. If someone puts too much of it on, then it becomes like anything else; an excess. But with a sensible application it is possibly the best cologne I’ve ever smelled. Unfortunately, they’ve discontinued the men’s line of Hypnose and focused on the women’s version.

|NOT the real thing – coming from a Hypnose wearer of 3 years,
This is not the real Hypnose we’ve all come to love and wear. I went against some of the reviews and purchased the 2.5oz hypnose cologne. I spent hours researchign the exact name, color, quantity, box style, etc for authenticity. Everything seemed legit except some of the negative reviews. I saw that the next size up resembled Lancome’s newer style hypnose, which was definitely not the real thing. When the package arrived, it looked like the real thing. Then I opened it and discovered that the color didn’t seem as deep and gold colored that it normally was in the past. I put on a couple of sprays and it smelled very similar, but it didn’t last longer than 20-30 minutes according to my girlfriend. The old hypnose would last a whole night’s worth of sweaty dancing in the club… this stuff would barely last through the pregame hour. Anyhow, I’m sorry to say that the fans of Hypnose will now have to find another unique cologne because the real one is gone forever.
Also, once you open the very dainty plastic wrap around the hypnose box… you cannot return it. Money wasted.
